:: I bought gas today for under $2 ($1.99 a gallon, to be precise). It was very exciting!!!

:: I have tickets to see Coldplay next Wednesday, but I'm not sure whether I'm going to go. It's on the other side of the world in Glendale. Plus it's the night before Thanksgiving and I'm sure I'll have tons of stuff to do. On the other hand, it's Coldplay. I'm torn.

:: I continue to love Sons of Anarchy. This week's episode blew me away! ) This show just brings it every week, and I can't wait to see what they do with next week's season finale.

:: As for Supernatural... )In short, I'm still really enjoying season 4 and I'm going to miss the Winchester boys and Castiel, The Hotass Angel of the Lord. *clings*

:: Back in March during South by Southwest, a local music blogger recommended a new (or at least new to me) musician who she had heard play in Austin. I bookmarked his information, but it wasn't until today that I sat down to listen to his music. And I LOVED IT! His name is Ford Turrell, and he's fantastic. He's got this great smokey voice, lyrics that resonate, and just a real organic quality to his music.

Here are a few of my favorite tracks from his debut CD:
- Let You Down
- Ghost of Goodbye
- Roll Away the Stone

And, if you like what you heard, the full CD: Ford Turrell (.zip file, 65MB).

:: So. The weekend. What are y'all doing? I wanna hear all about your fabulous weekend plans!!!

Friday!

Nov. 14th, 2008 02:05 pm
Despite this being a short work-week for me, it has seemed especially long and sluggish! I'm more than happy to see Friday roll around. I have a few more hours of work to get done, and then I'm off to see Quantum of Solace. I can't wait!!!

This weekend is going to be all about catching up with stuff around the house, trying my hand at making gumbo, and catching up with all the t.v. I'm still behind on. A low key weekend sounds perfectly wonderful to me!

I did watch Supernatural last night. (And this would be your friendly neighborhood spoiler warning.) )

And, just because, the first three songs on today's random music shuffle:

Jason Mraz (feat. Raul Midon): Keep On Hoping (Live)
Gavin Degraw: Let's Get It On
Joss Stone: Fell In Love With A Boy

I hope everyone is having a fabulous Friday!
Thing 1: It's Friday!!! Superfluous, I know. But, still, Fridays always deserve several exclamation points. Most especially Fridays before a three-day weekend!!!

Thing 2: Last night's Supernatural episode. )

Thing 3: How AWESOME was Game 1 between the Phillies and the Dodgers??? Very, I say -- very awesome! Also awesome is wrapping up my day early so that I can watch Game 2, which, by the way, the Phillies just took a 4-1 lead in the bottom of the 2nd. Go Phillies!!! \o/

Thing 4: I found a super-cute top today for my New Orleans trip -- for only $7.50!!! Bargain!

Thing 5: Speaking of Thing 4...ONLY 13 DAYS UNTIL NEW ORLEANS!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I can hardly wait!!!

Thing 6: Way to go Connecticut Supreme Court!!! It's always a GOOD DAY when equal rights for ALL comes out the victor!
Why, oh WHY, do I have that jingle stuck in my head??? If I'm going to be mentally tortured by outdated marketing jingles for no apparent reason, I think I at least deserve the damn candy bar that goes with it!

Anyway. Nuts or not, there is good news to be had today! Season two of Brotherhood was released on DVD yesterday and my copy arrived today!!! This weekend there shall be Caffee brothers, and brotherly angst, and political machinations, and fucked up family dynamics, and the blinding HOTNESS of Jason Isaacs and Jason Clarke!!! *flails*

In other exciting fannish news, the new BBC Arthurian show, Merlin, is slated to air in the U.S. on NBC in January!!! It looks potentially, cheestastically FABULOUS! Between Legend of the Seeker starting in November and then Merlin in January, my inner fantasy geek is very, very happy!

Also exciting: I finally got back in to the dance studio yesterday!!! I hadn't realized that it had been so long since I'd been in -- since December of last year! Way too long to go without dance. So, anyway, yesterday's lesson went well. It was sort of like riding a bike -- it all just came back as soon as I got on the floor! I have over 30 hours of lessons already paid up, so it's not an extra expense, which is a good thing right now. I'm not sure that I want to gear up for any competition or shows right now; I just want to get back to the studio, dance regularly, and have fun. But, yes, YAY!

Finally, holy HOTNESS, Batman! )
I need to be in court soon, on a case that has me well and truly conflicted, so before I got to all that mess, I thought I could do with a happy list:

1. New Supernatural episode tonight!!!

2. New Quantum of Solace pictures: GodDAMN. )

3. I get inked tonight!!! My first tattoo!!! OMG I'M SO EXCITED!!!

4. Coffee....mmmmmm.
Ok. So first things first. Supernatural!!! Oh, show! You are SO back!!! ♥ Just a bit more flailing about 'Lazarus Rising.' ) I'm actually excited to see what Kripke and company are going to do this season! Yayness!!!

In other YAY-worthy news, I think I'm finally going to go get my tattoo tomorrow. I had really wanted to get it for my birthday, but I just didn't have time. Since I don't have much planned this weekend except for some housecleaning, a bit of work, and getting past the last dregs of the plague, it seems like the perfect opportunity to get inked!
Why do we say we're under the weather when we're sick? Anyone know the origins of that idiom? Edumacate me!

Anyway. Yes. Still unwell. I had to drag my miserable self to court this morning, but I've spent the rest of the day laying about feeling like crap. I do, however, have plenty of orange juice, some yummy chicken noodle soup my mom made me yesterday, lots of Kleenex, and some cold medicine -- so I'm prepared to fight this thing until the death! Or, hopefully, something short of that.

Yesterday's plan for staying in bed until I felt better was interrupted by the acquisition of some last minute tickets to the baseball game. Despite feeling like road kill, I simply could not let baseball tickets go to waste! Especially not really great tickets, three rows from the field, right next to the D'backs dugout! So I went. I coughed. I sneezed. I cheered my sick little heart out. And still my D'backs lost. I just. I can't even talk about them right now.

I can say though that I really want this!!! CHRIS!!! Sadly, it's priced higher than anything I can get close to justifying. But, still, how cool would that be??? *grabby hands*

Let's see, what else? Oh, yes. I got caught up on True Blood yesterday. It's so BAD. It's a mildly entertaining flavor of bad, but still. I'll still watch it, at least until Alexander Skarsgård's character makes an appearance. I have no shame!

Also, my calendar tells me that the Winchester boys are back this week!!! (Why, yes, I do in fact calendar the season premiers of my favorite t.v. shows! These are IMPORTANT dates!)

That's all. I'm sick. I need tea. And my bed. *cough* *sniffle* *sneeze* Blerg.
I was powerless against the allure of a mini!Metallicar and bought my Supernatural Season 3 DVDs yesterday. The 'ittle Impala is adorable!

Also, I skipped out on the boxes of files awaiting my attention in order to go the the Diamondbacks game this afternoon. It was the last afternoon game of the season. I couldn't resist! I'm obviously having a problem with will power this week. *g* The D'backs had a fantastic come from behind win in the bottom of the 9th, so it was well worth the extra work I'll have to slog through tomorrow.

So, while there's been more talk of baseball 'round these parts than almost anything else, I do realize that the Fall television season is getting underway. I know that I'll be watching Supernatural on Thursday evenings (well, I'll be DVRing it if there's baseball to watch, but I will watch it eventually *g*). I also got the Season One DVDs of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, so my plan is to get caught up this weekend and watch that on Monday nights. And thanks to Generation Kill I'm more than a little in love with Alexandar Skarsgård, so I think I'll check out True Blood. The only other show I plan on watching is Brotherhood, which doesn't start until the end of the month, and will only have eight new episodes. Is there any other great television that I shouldn't be missing out on this Fall?
Thing 1: So last night we had a bit of rain. Before I went to bed I noticed that it was still coming down steadily and that the lightning show was pretty spectacular. I thought: Cool. I mean, we certainly can use all the precipitation that the monsoon season can bring our way. But, apparently, it was more than your average desert thunderstorm. Hurricane-force winds??? WTF? Roofs were ripped off buildings, trees uprooted, power lines downed, the ASU football team's practice dome completely demolished. And here I thought it was just a bit of rain and a pretty light show. *shakes head* (Obviously, I'm fine, my home is fine, my family is fine -- thankfully the storm seems to have happened all around us.)

Thing 2: I wasn't sure that I was going to get the Supernatural Season 3 DVD right away. I knew I'd get it eventually, but I wasn't really in a big hurry, y'know? But now I learn that the DVD box sets sold at Best Buy come with a miniature '67 Impala! A mini-Metalicar!!! I'm all over that! *is 12*

Thing 3: Although I'm super bummed that I'm not going to L.A. this weekend, I am pretty damn excited about this weekend's baseball. My family is awesome and got me tickets to all three games of the Diamondbacks/Dodgers series. \o/ And I've got a new camera to stalk take tasteful pictures of my D'backs with. *g* Now if only these boys can remember that they do indeed know how to play good baseball. That would be fantastic.
  • For starters, weekends are too short. Who decided that two days was enough? I demand a recount!

  • Today has been spent nursing the most wretched hangover I've had since, well, ever. *cries*

  • Yesterday [livejournal.com profile] technosage and I went to see Jerrod Niemann play in Payson. It was a kick ass show! We had a blast. Hence today's hangover. *cries more*

  • The Supernatural season finale has fully restored my love for this show!!! Oh, boys. *clings*

  • The Diamondbacks continue to be awesome! Thursday's game was great, as was seeing Brandon Webb pitch his ninth win. It's also good to see Eric Byrnes break out of his hitting slump. It may have something to do with the fact that he ditched "Lose Your Love" as his theme song. *laughs*
- Coffee is the nectar of the gods. Mmmmm. *slurps*

- I have a long day of jail visits after court this morning. Blerg. It's like descending into the pit of hell. NOT fun times. Please send Sam to save me!

- Speaking of Sam. And Dean. If you read Sam/Dean, then let me rec you the HOTTEST thing I've read in a really long time: On Phthonus' Altar (very NC-17) by [livejournal.com profile] leonidaslion. It's a follow up to Phthonus in Lethe. And holy hell is it ever HOT. I can't even bring myself to describe it to you because then I'm going to think about how this fic pushed so many of my kink buttons and my brain is going to melt all over again and I have to be in court in less than an hour and NEED my brain.

- Also speaking of Sam and Dean: Is it Thursday yet???

- I have a baseball game to go to on Thursday night, though. So I'll be watching the SPN finale after the game. Which is good otherwise I'd be on pins and needles over Dean's fate and Sam's probable brokenness and my ability to handle any of it!

- And while I'm on the topic of my t.v. obsessions. I've managed to get my brother hooked on Brotherhood! Ha! I doubt he's as taken with the hotness of the Caffee brothers as I am though. He actually does watch for the plot. *shakes head*

I'm off now to defend the wrongly accused! *laughs* Or something. Have a fabulous Tuesday, people!
It's supposed to be the lusty month of May, right? Yeah. Not so much with lusty, ribald, celebratory feeling 'round these parts. Whatever it is that came and took up residence in my lungs last Friday has completely kicked my ass and made me it's coughing, hacking, OMG-I-can't-breathe-and-would-really-like-to-just-DIE-now-please bitch. I managed about a half day's worth of work yesterday before I just couldn't and today I somehow dragged my ass out of bed and to court and then to the office for what amounted to almost a full day's worth of work. But then I came home and was just wiped. the. fuck. out. There was nappage and then I whipped up a yummy batch of spaghetti for dinner. And now I'm on the couch, waiting for Supernatural to start, and firmly planning on not doing anything else that requires any effort for at least the next 15 hours or so.

So, no May Poles for me. But despite the plague, there are still good things happening in my world.

First, there's the aforementioned NEW EPISODE OF SUPERNATURAL tonight!!! *bounces* I didn't bitch aloud (mostly because I was busy fending off DEATH), but I was less than enamored of last week's show. I mean. It was ok. But after waiting forever for a new episode, I was expecting a hell of a lot more than just MEH. So, tonight I'm fully expecting our show to kick ass! *nods*

Second, plague or no plague, tomorrow there shall be BASEBALL!!!!!!!! [livejournal.com profile] technosage and I have tickets to see the D-Backs take on the Mets and kick some ass of their own, as they do. OMGYAY!!! Baseball! And hotdogs! And beer! And ogling of the hotass Conor Jackson! And ALLIE!!!!!!! Good times, people. Damn good times.

Third, I've been mentally spending my tax refund and economic stimulus check all week, even though only one of them has actually graced my bank account. I'm thinking it's time I jump fully into the technological age and buy a Blackberry or some such device. Who's got one? What do you have? Do you love it? What do I need to know before buying one? Am I going to regret being forever tethered to my email or will this be the best thing ever? Advise me, oh wise ones.

I've also, possibly, got my eye on a charity auction for VIP tickets to see NIN at the Voodoo Experience in New Orleans this Fall. (OMG how awesome would that be???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) And, perhaps, I'm considering splurging on floor level tickets to see George Michael. Maybe. (Anyone want to join me? *tempts*) Obviously, there shall be NO practical investment or debt reduction or some such nonsense.

Fourth,...um. Well I really don't have a fourth. But I do have Winchester boys in five minutes. So I'm outa here! Blessed Beltane, peoples! Or Happy May Day! Or just enjoy the impending Spring! Whatever floats your boat. I wish y'all lot of sex (or at least porn!) and ribald merry makin'! *mwah*
Thing the First: NEW SUPERNATURAL TOMORROW!!!!!!!! *bounces* I miss the Winchester boys saving people, hunting things, and just being AWESOME! Oh, show, please to be bringing back the awesometasticness that made me love you in the first place.

Thing the Second: Friday Night Lights, Season 2, is now available on DVD!!! I've ordered mine from Amazon and I'm waiting impatiently for it to arrive so that I can roll around in FNL goodness for days 'n' days. ♥

Thing the Third: The Sarah Connor Chronicles will be back for a 13-episode second season!!! And Brian Austin Green will be back as a series regular! All of which reminds me that I still need to watch the last 4 (or 5?) episodes. But Fox doesn't seem to be streaming them any longer. Anyone know where I can find downloads, or do I have to wait until the DVD comes out in August? Also, anyone have recs for SCC fic?

Thing the Fourth: I simply COULD NOT wait until the August season two DVD release for more of the Caffee brothers. So I'm currently downloading the second season of Brotherhood from iTunes!!! \o/ TOMMY!!! MICHAEL!!! Your hotass selves will soon be on my screen again!!! *joy*

Thing the Fifth: The Diamondbacks are having a great April with a 15-5 record in the first 3 1/2 weeks of the season! Go D-backs!!! Also, Doug Davis seems to be on the mend after his April 9th surgery to remove a cancerous thyroid, taking to the cage for some batting practice this week. Go Doug!!! And next week there shall be MOAR BASEBALL with [livejournal.com profile] technosage when the D-backs take on the Mets!!! Go us!!!

Thing the Sixth: Jared Padalecki in a tank top!!!!!! OMGZ, how so BURNING HOT Jared??? *bites lip*

Thing the Seventh: I'll be in Tucson this weekend to get my dose of latino culture at the International Mariachi Conference. Listening to mariachi music always makes me want to drink tequila. *shrugs* I don't even know. It's like a genetic tick that goes into hyper-drive whenever the music starts. So, you know, a whole weekend of mariachi music and the resulting tequila can get very, very interesting. *g*

That's a lot of happy-makin' things!!! *twirls*
The weekend was fabulous!!! I was in L.A. for the Salute to Supernatural convention, a Steve Carlson show, and (mostly) to see my girls [livejournal.com profile] wendy and [livejournal.com profile] annkiri who were in from Texas, [livejournal.com profile] _lisalisa_ and [livejournal.com profile] glendaglamazon, and all my L.A. Hookers. We jammed so much into four days, there's no way I can cover it all, but I'll give you the condensed bullety version, along with a few pictures:

A Very Supernatural Weekend )

I think that's all the bullety recapping I can muster. In sum, the weekend was made of all kinds of awesome!!! Now I'm home and tired and missing my girls and trying not to think about having to get up early for court tomorrow.
Ack!!! I have SO much to do! My "To Do" list for today had somewhere around 5 billion items on it. I think I've crossed out about 4 billion or so. (YAY for a productive day!!!) But that means I still have about a billion things to do before I leave for L.A. tomorrow! *runs around some more*

But. BUT! As soon as I finish my laundry and get packed and print out some pictures and go to the bank and get through tomorrow morning's court calendar and call my trainer to schedule next week and...and...and...*deep breath* and a billion or so other things...then I get to jump on a plane and head to L.A. where I'll get to see [livejournal.com profile] wendy! and [livejournal.com profile] annkiri! and [livejournal.com profile] azewewish! (at least for one night of AWESOMENESS!) and [livejournal.com profile] editorzon! and [livejournal.com profile] coolwhipdiva! and [livejournal.com profile] sabrinagb! and [livejournal.com profile] without_me! (right? *crosses fingers*) and [livejournal.com profile] glendaglamazon! (brand spankin' new L.A. resident!!!) and [livejournal.com profile] _lisalisa_! and [livejournal.com profile] aproposofnothin! (*is hopeful*) and [livejournal.com profile] idiosyncratic! (*clings*) and...who else??? *eyes flist* (OMG that was the run-on-sentence-of-DEATH! *catches breath*)

There shall be a Steve show and a Jason show and another Steve show and some birthday celebratory activity and possibly a viewing of "Stop Loss" and a kick ass workout with EPHT and Jared and Jensen and much gleefulness and good friends and DAMN GOOD TIMES!!! (There I go abusing conjunctions again.)

First, though, I need to get through the rest of my To Do list. I better get busy.
Ok. This morning sucked, and NOT in the positive, life affirming way. But at least the afternoon is starting to look up, so I'd thought I'd help that process along with a Happy List.

- While he was the primary reason for this morning's sucktasticness, at least my client finally took the smokin' plea deal I was able to wrangle for him and (this would be the happy part) I won't be stuck in trial on Thursday. \o/ Seriously, though, I was >this< close to stabbing him with my pen.

- Word on the street (or, more precisely, word all over my damn flist!) is that Supernatural got picked up for a fourth season. More Winchester boys!!!

- A yummy Iced Cinnamon Dolce Latte with 4 shots of espresso makes everything a lot of things better! *vibrates*

- I'm loving these two products by DERMAdoctor because they are making my arms soft and smooth. Even after just a few applications I can tell that the little bumps that had plagued my upper arms for years are diminishing. Good skincare products are definitely happy making!

- New Amsterdam premiers tonight. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as an immortal, NYC homicide detective. I'm kinda crazily excited about this!

- While I love the Winchester brothers and I'm very glad they'll be gracing my screen for a fourth season, I may have found two brothers that fill me with at least as much squeeful GLEE: Michael and Tommy Caffee from Showtime's Brotherhood!!! Man, I'm only two episodes into the first season, but already this show owns me! Jason Isaacs and Jason Clarke are both brilliant and their chemistry just sparks. The show is tightly written, the story gritty and brutal. All of the characters are layered and interesting, even the supporting characters hold their own. This is just good t.v.

- [livejournal.com profile] annkiri wrote Swing Low, Sweet Chariot for my Sweet Chariot Fic. It's lovely and a little sad and she does a great job developing a really sweet dad-daughter relationship. Thanks, Becca. ♥
Happy Valentines Day!!! May we all learn to love ourselves as we should and to be open to love in its many forms, because in the eternal wisdom of one of my favorite romantic comedies, "love actually is all around." *blows kisses* And, to properly celebrate this day, may I offer more wise words from the same film: Let's get pissed and watch porn!!! \o/

So, since I can't really show up to court hungover tomorrow, more's the pity, I probably won't actually be getting pissed and watching porn tonight (not that I don't think that this is an EXCELLENT plan, no matter what the occasion), I will instead be celebrating this day by making cherry-chip cupcakes with cream cheese frosting and red sprinkles! Mmmmmm. And, of course, watching tonight's new episode of Supernatural. Winchester boys for Valentines Day!!!! So much better than Hallmark!

And, at [livejournal.com profile] azewewish's enthusiastic recommendation, I decided to treat myself to a new t.v. obsession for Valentine's Day and ordered the first season of Brotherhood. Jason Isaacs and Jason Clarke and good drama and delicious broyay!!! Call me crazy, but I think this may just be right up my alley!

Also in the category of "Valentines Gifts for Me from Me Because I Love Myself Lots" (and, for the record, this should be a category that EVERYONE makes use of on this day!), I'm treating myself to a 90 minute combination hot stone/Swedish massage AND a spa pedicure on Saturday!!!!! OMG, I cannot adequately express how much I NEED this massage! This week has sucked so much, and, work-wise at least, things aren't going to improve for a while, and I've been this walking ball of stress for days, complete with an aching jaw from clenching it so much, the fiery pain of knotted-up back and shoulder muscles, and a neck making disturbing crunching and cracking noises every time I stretch it out. Driving home from court today I was thinking how very WRONG it is for my jaw to be so damn sore without there having been a very large cock involved in the making of said jaw so sore. *shakes head sadly* So, ahem, as I was saying....MASSAGE!!! OMG NEED IT SO BAD!!! THIS SATURDAY!!!! HAPPY VALENTINES DAY TO MEEEEEEEE!!!!! \o/

Friday!!!

Jan. 25th, 2008 02:20 pm
I can't really complain about this week. It was relatively light work-wise, since my trial was continued. Still, I'm always glad to see Friday roll around.

So, wanna hear about my big and exciting Friday night plans? Tonight, as an early birthday present type-thing, I'm taking my niece, Rianna, to see the Disney on Ice Princess Wishes show. She's on her way here now, with one of her princess costumes, so that she can get appropriately fancied up for the night's festivities. I know, I know. I'm sure y'all are all jealous of my hot Friday night date. As you should be. *g*

In other big and exciting news (this time slightly bigger and moderately more exciting than Disney Princesses), I am apparently going to the Supernatural Convention in L.A. come March. *bounces* I blame this entirely on [livejournal.com profile] wendy, although she claims that Jared is the one to blame. [livejournal.com profile] annkiri must also bear some responsibility for this craziness. *nods*

Wendy and Becca!!! For a whole weekend! How could I resist??? It was impossible, I tell you. Oh, yeah. And those cute boys, too. But. Mostly. Wendy and Becca!!! *bounces more* So, who else will be there? *looks around hopefully*

Let's see. What else? The weekend ought to be low key. It's supposed to rain all weekend, which always makes me feel like holing up with a good book and cup of tea. There will probably be some moving watching, some housecleaning, a trip to the gym, and a few assorted errands. Other than that, the weekend is blissfully unscheduled!
It's Friday peoples!!! I was gonna say "thank the gods this craptacular week is over." But, this week has been nothing but a bitchfest. And, quite frankly, I'm tired of my own whining. So, instead, I bring y'all a Happy List!!!

Happy Makin' Thing the First: My cinnamon dolce latte with four shots of espresso. *vibrates*

Happy Makin' Thing the Second: Feeling better with the aid of good drugs!!! I'm not 100% yet, but I'm definitely feeling better than I have been in the past week.

Happy Makin' Thing the Third: SUPERNATURAL!!! Unmitigated squee! )

Happy Makin' Thing the Fourth: This. Down. Playing here on Monday. And, I just bought tickets! And, [livejournal.com profile] azewewish is coming to town to go see them with me! And,...well no additional "and." Except that all of this fills me with glee! Also, I have no illusions that [livejournal.com profile] azewewish is driving all the way from L.A. to see me, for she has disabused me of any such presumptions on my part. No. It's really all about Philip Anselmo (with his Arms of Tattooed Hotness deserving special note). I wish I could call her to task for such shallowness. My brain, however, sort of implodes every time I look at his arms, making it impossible for me to form actual words. I guess that makes both of us equally shallow. *g* I digress, though. Down! On Monday! With one of my L.A. Hookers! Exceedingly happy making!!!

Happy Makin' Thing the Fifth: It's Friday!!! This is happy making for several reasons. One, after a (hopefully) brief jail visit, my work week is over. Two, the weekend, with all it's attendant rest, relaxation, and football watchin' commences shortly thereafter. (There will actually have to be slightly more productivity this weekend than that, but, still, it's the weekend!) Three, a new episode of Friday Night Lights!!! Love. That. Show.
- Mom's surgery went well. She's resting and, other than feeling tired, is doing all right.

- My flist is FANTABULOUS! Thank you all for all your good thoughts, prayers, and just general wonderfulness. I'm most blessed to have y'all in my life. *hugs*

- The Winchester brothers plus creepy fairy tales equals WIN! I'll try to get to an actual reaction-type post tomorrow. But, in sum, I LOVE THIS SHOW!

- Today is a very special day because today is the day that the lovely [livejournal.com profile] sabrinagb graced this world with her gorgeous smile and sweet spirit. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SABRINA!!! I'm so glad to have met you! In the short time I've known you, you've brought so much brightness and laughter and joy to my world! I hope your day was fabulous and I can't wait to deliver a huge birthday hug in person on Sunday! *smishlovehugs*

- OMG I'm so exhausted! This week has just taken everything outa me. Tomorrow morning I have to be in court for a sentencing and then I have to go see a client in jail, but as soon as I've accomplished both those things, I'm declaring this craptastic week over and starting on the weekend.

- Speaking of weekends, this weekend (Sunday, actually) I get to go to L.A., spend some quality time with the Hookers, watch some football, and enjoy some great music courtesy of Steve, Jason and several others!!! Can it be Sunday now, please?
