Friday things.

jessipsaloquiturThing 1: It's Friday!!! Superfluous, I know. But, still, Fridays always deserve several exclamation points. Most especially Fridays before a three-day weekend!!!
Thing 2: Last night's Supernatural episode. I didn't hate it, but I definitely didn't OMGLOVE it to the same ridiculous degree that I loved the first three episodes this season. While it rang close to past episodes (Heart, Bloodlust), I don't think that it was a simple wash, rinse, repeat of what we've seen before. There was Sam's tortured feelings over the demon blood he carries and his attendant compassion for the Monster of the Week, all of which we've seen before (minus the really hot sex from Heart). But with regard to the whole Choice v. Destiny death match, I don't think we had ever seen Sam so firmly in Choice's corner before. Interesting. Also in the positive column for me was the confrontation scene between Sam and Dean. It's probably a measure of inherent WRONGNESS that I really LOVED seeing Dean knock the shit outa Sam. Twice! I probably experienced as much glee over that as I have any of the carefully doled out brother!hugs. Ahem. What? I never claimed not to be SICK and WRONG! *g*
Thing 3: How AWESOME was Game 1 between the Phillies and the Dodgers??? Very, I say -- very awesome! Also awesome is wrapping up my day early so that I can watch Game 2, which, by the way, the Phillies just took a 4-1 lead in the bottom of the 2nd. Go Phillies!!! \o/
Thing 4: I found a super-cute top today for my New Orleans trip -- for only $7.50!!! Bargain!
Thing 5: Speaking of Thing 4...ONLY 13 DAYS UNTIL NEW ORLEANS!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I can hardly wait!!!
Thing 6: Way to go Connecticut Supreme Court!!! It's always a GOOD DAY when equal rights for ALL comes out the victor!
