Happy Saturday, everyone! It's sunny and beautiful outside. Such a gorgeous day calls for a Happy List!

1. I had a lovely night with The Lovely Nieces last night. I took them to see Monsters v. Aliens, and while Rhyan was only interested in eating fistfuls of popcorn (seriously, she dug into the bag of popcorn with BOTH HANDS!), Rianna really liked the movie. Good times!

2. I just had a kick-ass workout with the Trainer Dude that included about 20 minutes of new boxing combinations. I feel fierce! \o/

3. Watching some of the NFL Draft. Seriously, can Mark Sanchez be any more adorable??? I think the title of Best Dimples of the NFL has just passed from Hines Ward to Mark!

4. Baseball tonight!!! I'll be heading out to Chase Field soon to see the D'backs and the Giants. Randy Johnson is starting for the Giants. It still makes me weep a little on the inside to see him in black and orange, but it'll be good to see him do his thing. Seriously, though, my boys need to get it together already. *shakes head* I'm sure that me being there cheering them on will make ALL the difference today! *beams*

I'm not even a baseball fan and I think Randy Johnson is amazing. :)

Randy IS amazing! He wasn't having his best game yesterday, but it was still good to see him pitch.

I was flipping channels the other day and I said Look! Randy Johnson!. And A said wistfully, I can't believe the Mariners got rid of him because he was TOO OLD... y'know, a DECADE ago. ;-)

I know! He's been written off so many times and he's still out there grinding out good innings. If he gets his 300th win this season, though, I wouldn't be surprised if he finally retires.

It was sad to see him on the mound in Chase Field in a Giants' jersey! :(

I don't really believe in booing because I generally think it's the wrong attitude to have, but tonight I booed RJ. After all we've been through with him, he left us for what will likely be his last season for more money. Uncool, Randy. Even though we lost, I was secretly smug that he had such a shitty game.

See, I put the fact that Randy isn't in a D'backs jersey this year squarely on the shoulders of Arizona's front office. I don't blame Randy at all. He was more than willing to compromise, but the front office seemed unwilling to make something work early enough in the off season. And in the end, they ended up paying Jon Garland even more than what Randy was asking for.

I was not happy with the few fans who booed him yesterday. Regardless of business decisions, there should be some loyalty when a player has given so much to an organization. Randy more than deserves the standing ovation that I and others gave him yesterday when he came off the mound.

And while I really don't want to see him racking up the wins he needs to reach 300 against the D'backs, I wish he could have had a better outing, especially since we couldn't even take advantage of his pitching struggles.

I completely agree that he's given a lot to the team and I really appreciate everything he's done for us (2001! Woo!). Still, I stand behind my decision.
I hope I haven't offended you or anything. Differences of opinion happen, I guess.
Also, I'm usually against booing. ESPECIALLY when fans boo after a poor outing by a particular player.

Hell no you didn't offend me! It takes much more than a difference of opinion to do that. :)
