Good Things:

:: The Saints are tearing things up against the Packers. Way to go, boys! Also, Jeremy Shockey looks damn hot.

:: I had a kick-ass workout with Trainer!Boy today. Speaking of kicking ass, I've lost 7 pounds this month. This is especially awesome considering all the delicious food we ate in New Orleans. With an additional workout each week, I'm hoping to continue this healthy trend through the holidays. Go me! \o/

:: If all goes as planned with my day tomorrow, I'll be checking out the Nia class here. Exciting!

:: Legend of the Seeker is still very much my cheesetastic happy place! HAI Kehlan's fabulous rack! *ogles* And Richard gets hotter every episode. Especially when he's tied up. I like him tied up. *nods* Speaking of t.v. happy places, my flist is all a flutter over Merlin. I can't wait until it starts to air on NBC in January! In the meantime, tell me why you love it so. With pictoral evidence of its awesomeness, please! *beams*

Less-than-Good Things:

:: Dammit, my neck still hurts. A lot. Heat pads and ibuprofen are doing very little to help. Tomorrow I'm stopping by Ikea to buy a laptop stand. Hopefully that will help.

:: I'm going to have to skip the Coldplay concert Wednesday night. There's just no way I can get all the Thankgiving related things done and trek out to Glendale for the show. Bummer.

Way more Good Things than Less-than-Good Things! Awesome!

Nah. It's no problem, really. It just didn't work out. And I spent the money so long ago, it doesn't really feel like a loss. But, seriously, I need to not put down a couple hundred on concert tickets unless I'm absolutely sure I'm going to go. *shakes head*

Jeremy was very hot. And he looked very happy! Which, you know, it had been a while since Jeremy had looked happy. I'm sure Jason had something to do with it. *g*

Dude. That workout kicked my ass and I'm so sore today.

Can you sell them on StubHub?

Jeremy looked VERY happy. And hot. I did mention hot, right???? *g* I'm guessing he & Jason had a very good weekend. Plus, y'know, Jeremy's getting carrys now & he's clicking with Drew on the field, so I'm sure that helps. *draws hearts*

It's too late for StubHub, but I do have them posted on Craigslist. Who knows, it might not be a total loss. *shrugs*

Jeremy SO needed someone significantly more alpha than poor Eli could ever hope to be. I think he and Drew are going to work well together.

Like most strong-willed boys, Jeremy just needs a firm hand to guide him. ;)

I have a feeling he & Chad would have a lot in common. Which begs the question of Chris & Jason having a LOT to talk about.

I rock. I know. *g*

And you? What is this crazy, crazy night of which your other place speaks of? And why the feeling like roadkill? I must know more!

You rock more than a rockiest thing ever!

Ah yes, well...*cough*

You know of this Nia of which I speak??? I've never done it, but I am INTRIGUED! Tell me more!

I do! Because I do Nia as my primary form of exercise.

It's a fusion of 3 different kinds of dance styles -- modern, jazz, and Duncan, 3 different kinds of martial arts - Aikido, Tai Chi, and Tae Kwon Do, and 3 different healing arts -- yoga, Feldenkreis, and the Alexander Technique. What that translates to is an hour of choreographed dance with a particular focus or intention that fuses movements from or inspired by the various styles above. It's very expressive and totally adaptable to your own fitness level, strengths, and limitations.

And it's done barefoot. And it's so much fun. And it's a killer workout, but in the way that usually you don't feel like you had your butt kicked when you leave, but over time you just start to notice things like muscle definition everywhere and improved strength.

My studio is here: www.niamoves.com. I will be there Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for Helen's morning classes. w00t!

This sounds exciting! How much of any of those dance styles or martial arts is it necessary to know before walking in to your first Nia class? Because, um, I've never done any of those things! *worries* But I'm still really intrigued by this and excited about checking it out!

Not necessary to know anything at all. Just bring yourself and your dancin' feet.

The thing I'm loving most on LotS is how Kehlan fights. I've never seen dagger fighting so well choreographed! It's fun to watch. ;-)
