louisville
Jul. 14th, 2010 03:37 pmI actually DID make it home from Louisville. The rumors of me perishing from glam overload are hugely exaggerated, although it was close there for a moment. I had an absolutely FANTABULOUS time, but since I got back Monday morning, work has been a complete nightmare, so I haven't even had time to come here to flail and toss glitter about and share my pictures and just generally gush about how amazing Adam was and how is just completely blew my mind into tiny, sparkly, glittery bits all over again.
I finally did get my pictures uploaded last night though, so I'm hoping to write a re-cap post later today. I figure as long as I get my Louisville post up before the Denver show on Saturday I'm still technically ahead of schedule. *g*
Other than the glittery, mind-blowing awesomeness that was Glam Nation, I also got the chance to spend all of Sunday with two friends who I hadn't seen in over three years. Carole and Jerry are two of the most kind-hearted, beautiful, spiritual people I know and it was so wonderful to spend the entire day talking and catching up and just enjoying each others' company. It was completely refreshing and relaxing. I love spending time with people who motivate and inspire me to be the best version of myself possible; and that's exactly what they do and they somehow do it while at the same time being 100% accepting and non-judgmental of the me I am now. Plus I got to cuddle with their adorably spoiled golden retriever, Sweetie. So it was in all ways a lovely day that really did my heart good. :)
After being gone all weekend without my computer and dealing with the complete craziness of work once I got back, I am light years behind on LJ; so if something significant is happening in your world, or even if it's not, come tell me what's been happening with you! And I promise to post pretty pictures of Adam and Tommy later! *g*
