no regrets, just love

Glee: Last night's episode is exactly why I love this show so damn much! This show manages to get these flawed, even unlikeable characters to get it so beautifully, heartbreakingly, messily, perfectly HUMAN and RIGHT sometimes.
I love this show for tackling the bullying issue. I gotta say, the closeted jock thing was both totally unexpected and yet completely obvious. Well played, show. And, Chris Colfer is AMAZING! The range of emotions that kid can convey in one lip-quibble is just unreal. Kurt made my heart break into little itty bitty pieces so many times during that episode! In my perfect Glee world, Blaine would have kissed Kurt on the stairs, but apparently the show isn't done with this whole bullying theme, so I'm interested to see what they do both with Ham Hock and with the Blaine story. Also, these kids apparently do little more than sing and make-out, so if Kurt doesn't get equal making-out screen time, I'm going to be pissed. Just sayin'.
I loved the girls in leather and the ridiculous wind machine hair! Although while I loved this episode I found the musical numbers kinda MEH. Except for "Teenage Dream." Darren Criss's performance of Teenage Dream, with Kurt's little puppy dog eyes, makes me ridiculously happy!!!
You know what else makes me ridiculously happy? Darren Criss (Blaine) in talks to become a series regular! Yay!
Yeah, I'm pretty sure I won't be erasing this episode from my DVR anytime soon. *g*
Chad Michael Murray: CMM is starring in a sure to be cheesy, made for t.v. holiday movie!!! *laughs* My holiday season has been made!

Opera: I know it will probably horrify
annkiri, but I've never actually been to the opera. Ack! So uncultured! *facepalm*
ladymairwen, however, mentioned maybe going to see Arizona Opera's production of Carmen next week and that sounds like a nifty plan to me! Also, apparently they are doing some interesting staging by having some of the audience on the stage in the bull ring and it sounds FASCINATING! (
annkiri I'd really love to hear your thoughts on this concept!)
DWTS:: I realize that Kurt Warner was not the best dancer, but it really bugs me that Bristol Palin is in the semi-finals and he got voted out last night. Kurt is at least as good as she is, and there were MUCH better dancers who got cut way before their time, while she kept making it through. Damn tea party voters! They couldn't be happy with fucking up mid-term elections, they had to go and ruin my happy dancing show! *rage*
But, in happier DWTS news, producers are apparently considering a same-sex dance couple, with Portia DeGeneres on their list of possible stars! A same-sex dance couple would be AMAZING! And I'd love to see Portia on that show! Yay!!!
Adam:

Adam, please feel free to palm your dick on stage any time. It's #allrightwithme.
