jessipsaloquiturTGIF, indeed!!! Man, that sentiment has rarely been as heartfelt as it is this week. My week of creeping crud and crazy-busy work and bone-weary tiredness, culminated its fabulousness with me getting hit in the courthouse parking garage this morning. Not impressed, Universe! I'm not impressed at all!!! Thankfully I'm ok. But my car definitely is not.
BUT! In much better news: THE DAYLIGHTS!!!! They played last night in the diviest little dive to be found in Tempe. There were maybe 30 people there in all and I'm pretty sure I was the only one who knew who they were. But, dear gods, those boys sound AMAZING live! Their new material sounds great! I can't wait for that record to drop. They did some older stuff too. All around awesome show! And they were super sweet too! Since it was pretty damn obvious that I was the only one familiar with their music, Ricky made it a point to come up and introduce himself after the set. Ran came over too and we had a drink while the rest of the guys loaded their van. Slackers! But sweet slackers! *g* Unfortunately I had court early this morning, and they played a late set, so I couldn't stick around for more than a drink. They were awesome and adorable though. And, it's true, hot twins definitely do make everything better. *g*
