Holy hell. The Cardinals won! Yeah. I'm as surprised as the rest of the world.

But, holy hell!!! THE CARDINALS WON!!!

I had never been to a professional football game before, and OMG THAT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! The stadium was rockin'! Everyone stood and screamed and cheered and waived their white towels the whole game through. My ears are still ringing! That was probably as loud as some metal shows I've been at. We had great seats, too. Good times, man. Damn good times.










Me, having a blast! And wearing for the first time the awesome jersey that technosage gave me!

I am trying really hard not to be bitter (especially about the horrific 3rd quarter) and to focus on the fact that my Falcons went from 4-12 last year to 11-5 this year & made the playoffs.

It might take a day or two, however. *g*

Yesterday wasn't pretty for the Falcons, but there's no denying that they had one hell of a season and that Matt Ryan is going to do great things. But yeah...*pets*

However, I just saw that the Colts got knocked out yesterday (I was over at Jenna's, so I didn't see the game), so that makes me VERY happy. *laughs*

And I am happy that the Cards won, don't get me wrong. They're a good team. And I like Warner & Fitzgerald & Boudin. I just wish they hadn't won at the expense of my team. *g*

And, yeah...well we knew one of us wouldn't be happy about yesterday's game. *g*

So, to change the subject, how did it go with ATL dude yesterday?

He wound up getting stuck in the ATL until Monday (some family thing), but he wants to get together this week. So we'll see. I swear, my life, she is really interesting atm.

I'm not much for football but I love Kurt Warner. I was really sorry to see him traded. However, it seems he's appreciated in his new city so I shall be happy for him. ;-)

Kurt Warner has turned things around for the Cardinals -- he's definitely appreciated around here. Plus, he's just a nice guy. How can you not like him??? :)
