X-treme Awesomeness!

The highlights: X was fucking fantastic! It was fabulous to see hewet_ka_ptah! We had a blast!

I'm too lazy to write up a detailed post, especially as Deb has already brilliantly summed up our escapades. But I do have PICTURES!

Me & Deb: on our way to the show (after stuffing ourselves full of delicious Italian food! Dinner was v. v. YUMMY!)


The opening act, who sport a sadly uninspired rock band name -- The Detroit Cobras -- but who were never the less quite entertaining.


John Doe's plastic pig!!!


Yeah. I have no idea what the pig is all about. But the crew very carefully placed the pig on John's amp during set up and the pig sat there throughout the show. I was amused.

John Doe and Billy Zoom rockin' out, Xtene belting it, and DJ Bonebrake somewhere behind the drums. This was their 31st anniversary tour. Damn. Does this mean we're they're old???

And again. He was practically on top of us. I think he probably sweated on us. This made Deb squeal like a little girl John Doe's plastic pig!


Allow me to point out the hot roadie guy off stage behind Billy Zoom. It's possible that I was quite distracted by him during the entire show. It's also possible that my camera ended up pointed in that direction quite a bit.



To recap: X still fucking rocks! Deb is made of awesome! We had a great time! And I am easily distracted by the pretty!
