Lady A

While it was an absolute NIGHTMARE getting to the show (I got lost TWICE and got caught in the worst dust storm to pass through the Valley in years -- I literally could NOT see more than two feet in front of the car!), the Lady Antebellum show last night was great! It was a small venue, but the crowd was really into the music, the energy was great, and Lady A just rocked the hell outa' it! I really love the trio's sound -- definitely country but with a good dose of rock mixed in, well-penned lyrics and amazing harmonies.

My cousin Yesenia went with me, it was my birthday present to her. She had a great time too and I really enjoyed being able to spend some time with her, so it was totally worth the nightmare trip out to the wilds of Queen Creek!
