Ten Inch Hero

As expected, Jensen was beautiful and very watchable, no matter what color his hair was.

( I was unexpectedly (and pleasantly) surprised by the movie as a whole, though. )

Another fabulous thing about seeing Ten Inch Hero yesterday? Getting to see it with mysanal, wendy, clex_monkie89, and unperfectwolf. mysanal I know and love, but wendy, clex_monkie89, and unperfectwolf I hadn't met before. *waves* They are sweethearts, all of them, and I'm so glad to have had the chance to meet them.

Also, wendy might have talked me in to going to winchestercon in October. Which I'm sure she'll laugh at because it (apparently) didn't take much convincing. I had thought about it -- but I've never been to a con before and didn't know any one who was going in person and I was scared and nervous and a bit intimidated and well, sometimes, apparently, I think more like a 14 year old than a 34 year old. (Also, it's Monday. Run-on sentences are allowed on Mondays.)

But, now I've met some fangirls and they were great and they didn't bite (why didn't they bite???) and, so, I'm thinking I might go in October. In any case, I got a room and I registered. I figure I can cancel if I get cold feet. So, yeah, winchestercon!!! (Unless, of course, I get scared again.)

This qualifies as a disconcerting paradigm shift.

I'm going to have to completely revise my opinion of my secretary. Most of you have probably heard me bitch about her -- about how she doesn't like me because I don't usually have much for her to do and how she is annoyingly passive aggressive and ridiculously insecure about "her" people getting along with any of the other support staff.

Yeah. Well all that's still pretty much true.

But, it doesn't matter anymore, 'cause now I have a reason to LOVE HER....she's a rabid Supernatural fan!!!!

She just came into my office and noticed my Supernatural mug on my desk (which she previously hadn't noticed due to the massive amounts of crap work also on my desk). But, yeah, she noticed and grabbed it up and hugged it to her chest and went on and on about how much she loves the show and loves Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki (she even knew their names!) and loves Dean and Sam and how she records it every week. And, yeah, my snarky secretary and I BONDED over Supernatural. It was a touching moment.

But, even though I may have to like her now that we share the Supernatural love....she doesn't write angsty, hot, brother sex, so I still need to figure out how to become rich and powerful so that I can hire mona1347 as my legal secretary personal porn writer.
