jessipsaloquiturLos Angeles was such a PERFECT way to end what was a fantastic year of Glam Nation. I went to both shows -- the show at The Music Box on the 15th and the final show at Club Nokia on the 16th -- with ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
llandaffaz, coolwhipdiva, _lisalisa_ and @morgaine99, and editorzon joined us for the final show at Club Nokia. Both shows were just so much damn fun! They were completely stress free; no standing in line for hours, no stressing over seats or getting a close spot on the floor or meet and greets. We hung out and laughed and drank and sang along and danced and just had a fucking good time!
I'm not going to recap them both, mostly because a good part of my flist was actually there with me, but also because there are recaps all over the damn place. But I did want to post some of the vids and photos here, mostly for my own reference.
I'm going to start at the end with the first show. The Music Box Glam Nation show was exactly six years to the day from Adam's epic Zodiac Show performance of 'A Change Is Gonna Come'. So it was very much a full circle moment and a celebration of everything that has happened for him in the past six years. He again sang "A Change is Gonna Come" during his encore that night. It was such an phenomenal moment to experience, not only to be part of what Adam as a performer has accomplished, but to think about the evolutions going on in our very world and of the personal transformation(s) I've experienced. It was powerful, so full of pride and hope and heart. And it was very emotional -- I cried like fucking baby! I will forever by grateful that I was there for his performance.

Adam's hair was defying the laws of physics and gravity that night!
Adam was joined by Alisan Porter on "Aftermath."
I was so happy to get an Adam and Alisan duet on "Aftermath"! (Alisan and Adam, together with two other friends, co-wrote this song.)
Raja sauntered on stage looking fabulous to give Adam his coat and cane for Strut!
There was awesome, colorful confetti falling from the sky during If I Had You! This perfectly captured how damn HAPPY everyone was during this show!

I had so much damn fun at the last Glam Nation show. First off, Club Nokia has some fucking amazing sound! Man, I was blown away by how crystal clear the sound was in that venue, from just about any spot. There are screens everywhere, so you don't miss anything that's happening on stage. I would definitely go see other acts there.
Me and the girls just hung out in the back of the floor at the bar. We chatted up our bartender and enjoyed a steady flow of alcohol. As we do. *g* And we just had ourselves a fucking fantastic DANCE PARTY back there! So. Much. FUN!!!!
Adam was looking particularly GORGEOUS for his final show.
I think someone got a glitter facial before the encore. Seriously, man, by the end of the night that man was so damn sparkly, he had to have had glitter sweating outa his pores.
We got both "Purple Haze" and "Whole Lotta Love" for an encore, which made me very happy! Also, seeing Adam on his hands and knees sort of broke my brain for a moment. *bites lip*
And he got pyro for his last show!!! That boy was just glowing he was so damn happy! *loves*

I have had such an amazing time this year going to Glam Nation shows all across the country, spending time with some of my dearest friends, and meeting all kinds of fabulous people! It's been crazy and wonderful, mind blowing and life changing. And this was just a perfect end to what has been one hell of a ride. I'm going to cherish every memory and I can't wait to see what this boy comes up with next!
