jessipsaloquiturSince my New Year's post is flocked to protect the innocent shameless, here's the version that's fit public consumption, which mostly consists of photos and some assorted squee.
Gridlock was a damn good time! The entire night was fantastic. The event was run so well, the alcohol was flowing, the crowd was just enough to be fun and not enough to be obnoxious, everyone was happy-drunk and just having a blast, we were kissed by random cute boys, and I had the best time ever ringing in 2010 with my girls!
And Adam just fucking killed it!!! He sounded SO good and looked amazing and was just obviously having a good time. He did ten songs from For Your Entertainment. He opened with Music Again; I'm not sure if he's ever going to get the lyrics right to this one, but he still rocked the hell outa it and it was a great way to kick things off. He did several of my favorites including If I Had You, Strut, and Fever. He did a gorgeous, kind of scaled back version of Soaked, and Sleepwalker sounded AMAZING live. We also got For Your Entertainment, Sure Fire Winners, and Whataya Want from Me. And he ended the set with Down The Rabbit Hole!!! I lost my shit with this one! So much fun live! And then they came back for a completely kick ass encore of Whole Lotta Love. He was on FIYAH! And the band all rocked the shit outa it! I cannot wait until his tour!!!
None of these came out spectacular, as I was mostly too busy dancing my ass off to focus a good picture, but there are some decent ones in the bunch.
