Any chance I could get a copy of the gumbo recipe? I have rediscovered my slow cooker and made a huge batch of turkey chili this weekend and am all fired up to make more stuff. Gumbo seems like it'd be perfect for the slow cooker!
I would suggest burning something more fragrant in the microwave, say a bunch of lemons but that might be tempting fate. *g*
