is it thursday yet???
Dec. 15th, 2009 08:32 pmIn only 48 hours I will be in L.A. enjoying a long weekend of various shenanigans and good times with some of the most amazing women on the planet!!! So much GLEE!!!!! *bounces*
In the meantime, I'm working to scrunch about 8 days worth of work into 3 1/2 days, in addition to finishing off all the holiday "to dos" before I leave. For some reason, this math isn't working for me.
It's a conundrum. On the one hand, I want it to be Thursday OMGNOWPLEASE!!! On the other, I need approximately 6 or so hours in each day in order to get everything done! Tonight I am DETERMINED to get my holiday cards done. *looks sternly at herself* But first I need to tell y'all about the AMAZING Kris/Adam fic I read today! (Um, yes, while at work. Don't judge me!)
It's SO good! I was literally crying half-way through the first part. And that, let me tell you, is seriously awkward when you're trying to surreptitiously read porn at work! It has a hazy, soft around the edges, fairy tale feel to it. And the characterizations are great. I love her Kris! The story is lovely; it just breaks you into a million pieces and then puts you back together again. And, it's just SO GOOD! *sigh* I think I have to read it again tonight. Right after I finish my holiday cards! *looks sternly at herself again*
