i've got this holiday thing under control

My tree is up and trimmed. Most of my holiday shopping is done. There was plenty of eggnog with Southern Comfort consumed while decorating the tree last night. I'm feeling rather smug that I'm so on top of this whole holiday thing this year. *g* (No, really, as compared to last year, I'm pwning this holiday season. Last year I never even managed to get a tree up. It was tragic.)

So, anyway, to help me check a few more items off my holiday to do list, I need a few things from y'all.

Second, I'll be writing out my holiday cards during football watching today. Multitasking FTW! \o/ So, if you would like to receive a happy-filled, religiously-neutral holiday greeting from me, drop me a comment with your address. Comments will be, naturally, screened.

And, third, next weekend I'll be doing the majority of my holiday baking and I feel like trying some new recipes this year. So, if you have a favorite holiday recipe -- cookies, candy, fudge, whatever -- will you share it with me? *begs prettily*
