It has been a DAY.

I woke up to the horrible realization that my air conditioner wasn't working. This is no small tragedy when the projected high temperatures for the day are somewhere between 106 and too fucking hot for brain activity.

So instead of going in to the (nicely air conditioned) office, I spent the day waiting in an ever hotter house for the technician to come and fix the damn thing. I cannot express the levels of NOT FUN that was. But as of about an hour ago, I have lovely cool air once again blowing through my house.

The lost day of work means that tomorrow is going to be epic levels of insane, but I refuse to think about that until I have to.

Also, possibly due to the mind melting levels of heat, I ended up buying better seats to the American Idols Tour. OMG, FIFTH ROW!!! *flails wildly* The tickets I had weren't bad, on the floor about midway back, but I could not resist the opportunity to be only five rows from Adam Lambert score better seats. *g* I should be able to sell the ones I have. Anyone here interested before I list them?

So, anyway, the air is working again and I've got a pizza on its way and a bottle of wine chilling. A random Wednesday night with air conditioning is an event worth celebrating!!!
