Prior to this ep I would have guessed Sam hadn't done the deed with Ruby. It just doesn't seem like something Sam would do. But it does make more sense when considering this ep and his condition post Dean's death. He wasn't Sam. I'm totally fine with it though. And yeah, it was seriously hot. And can I please have Sam swoop me into his lap like Ruby? I may not be as tiny as she is but I have no doubt in my mind he'd still manage it. :-)

I thought that the hoops that the writers jumped through in order to get her in an "acceptable" body, and more than that, the drawn out exposition about it, seemed contrived and done to placate the fan-base, which I think is just chickenshit.
I totally agree. They need to write what they want to write and forget about the fans, man.
