Celebrating Democracy with Coffee, Donuts, and Ice Cream!

I know we're all politically aware, active participants in our own democracy around here. And that it doesn't take a free cup of coffee or scoop of ice cream to get us to do our civic duty. But, since we are all going to make our voices heard on Tuesday anyway, a free celebratory donut is a nice bonus! *g*

Assuming you actually get through the lines in time to partake. My neighbors went to do early voting on Friday and were there from 11 AM to 5:30 PM. I hope the lines move faster on election day, especially since I'll have my 4-year-old with me!

My plan is to be at my polling place when it opens at 6. I'm hoping most of my neighbors aren't early risers. *crosses fingers* In any event, while I still think voter turnout will be larger than normal, I don't think that the lines at the polls on the 4th are going to be as bad as they were at the few early voting locations.
