What I loved about Lawrence v. Texas was not only that it struck down anti-sodomy laws, thereby removing any "illegality" from homosexual relationships, but it cited Griswold v. Connecticut and Roe v. Wade, and so strengthened those cases (about contraception and abortion, respectively, and I know you know that, but someone else may not *g*), and the general protection of privacy as a constitutionally guaranteed right.
